Ambos profesionales fueron llamados a intervenir como peritos alienistas en un caso criminal de connotaci\u00f3n nacional: el intento de asesinato en contra del general de ej\u00e9rcito Roberto Silva Renard por parte del ciudadano espa\u00f1ol Antonio Ram\u00f3n. Mientras Greve optaba por la din\u00e1mica mental y conoc\u00eda la obra de Freud, Lea-Plaza era un joven m\u00e9dico marcado por las teor\u00edas degeneracionistas.
