Los hallazgos permitieron reconstruir c\u00f3mo el freudismo fue primeramente rechazado por la incipiente escena psiqui\u00e1trica local, acus\u00e1ndolo de pansexualista. En la d\u00e9cada de 1930 este panorama cambiar\u00e1, ya se apreciar\u00e1 una revaloraci\u00f3n del psicoan\u00e1lisis a nivel local, calific\u00e1ndolo precisamente como un saber especializado en la sexualidad. El realce del mecanismo de la &#8220;sublimaci\u00f3n&#8221;, estimado por su capacidad de hacer transmutar la peligrosidad del &#8220;ello&#8221; en productos culturalmente aceptados, ser\u00e1 el hito que marcar\u00e1 este &#8220;retorno de lo reprimido&#8221; del factor sexual del psicoan\u00e1lisis en Chile.
